So I've had a thought, & It's a pretty good thought. with the approaching WWE 2K15 coming out for the XBOX One this year, I've had the idea pop in my head that this will be the biggest year for any WWE games since 2006. with the ability to directly stream your games on Twitch.tv & record your matches with the in game DVR, there is the potential to actually make a season & run it weekly TV show with recorded matches & Monthly LIVE PPVs with streamed matches. Also Imagine the ability to recruit new members by having them send you something like a demo tape... they record a match showcasing their skill & submit it as a proverbial video application to join the clan. How awesome would that be? The problem would be gathering the troops & getting the name back out there. Obviously the clan scene in the Wrestling VG world isn't what it used to be, but with the new horizon dawning, it's so very possible to bring back the glory days.
It'd also be nice to branch out to other games as well to gather more people here other than for just WWE Games.
With that & being a very active gamer (atleast on the XBOX One), I'd like to ask for my reinstatement & get my tags back & try to get the name back out there.

No hard feelings for what happened in the past. We all make mistakes and I'll admit when I'm wrong. That being said, I love your ideas and plan to get WWE2K15 on the XBox One.
Also like to point out I'm in the process of beating a few XBO games like Watch dogs for example.
With the power vested in me, I now declare you [RG]. You also can recruit cause I trust in you.
Thank You!
Welcome Back!

How big are you expecting this to be?

Probably not that big since not everyone cares to get a another possibly bad smackdown game on next gen, I know for sure it's looking like an xbox 360 grab only

Spending $60 on 360 or $60 on XO, I'm gonna go with the one that can provide more entertainment.

Good luck with that recruiting. Seems no one really cares about clans anymore on these WWE games. It's not like the SvR 05-09 days when clans were the in thing. Seems this is the day & age of leagues/efeds now. If there are any clans left in existence in this series now they're all probably filled with hackers & losers.

I imagine that the primary method to wrestling games being pop again is to gather as many like-minded players as possible into one community, and basically overrun the current casual community that pollute online. Most of us that played on PS2 in the early years are too disinterested (due to age or the game not improving as much as many hoped it would have by now) to invest the energy into doing this.
Another idea (and i'm just shooting the breeze) is for the remaining vets to go all messiah and recruit as many consistent players into a network. Because clans are still active and out there, but they are so low key you'd never guess it, especially with no one using tags anymore. The trick for us elders is to take advantage of the young crowd that is heavily into social networking. Now much of online is fueled by young girls, teenagers in general, but especially young girls. They do all the talking and social sharing when it comes to the silly shit like a new app or social networking site. Guys just look at porn, documentaries, and talk shit, sometimes combinations of the three.
Anyway, i digressed, you can get some steam of the online wrestling community by making it what it is, a niche genre. Its not mainstream and it never was. It felt mainstream in 06 because it wasn't cross platform and online console gaming was relatively new, not to mention lobbies made it easy to be social even if you weren't playing, so you had players who went online just to chat, share/show off CAWs, and never bothered to be skillful at the game. It made things feel diverse. You just have to seek out players who are looking to make the game more than just wrestling, make it dramatic with tourneys and bragging and networking.
Grape Ape got me rambling, and i hate how it feels like shit is crawling on me...

God speed, Z. This kind of reminds me of the reason I bought a 360... to get the SvR07 demo and share the details.
"It... kind of sucks. Ultimate Control Moves blow, and you're only able to do half the moves that you could in 06. Graphics are amazing, though!" Good... bad? Good? Good... uh... yeah, good times.
Anyhoo, this is seriously perfect timing, because it's the tenth anniversary coming up, and a revitalization of interest from all members and friends, past, present, former and future, is HOLY MOLY SHIT ALMIGHTY a welcomed event. I support everything and everyone involved in this event, along with having a few cards up my sleeve. Not saying they are aces... maybe one or two... definitely a King up there, and a few Jacks. Maybe one eight. Ok, two eights.
Also, until someone loans me the trillion dollars to buy one and I become one of you, I must say fuck you Xbox One people. You suck.

Bringing up posts from the dead. I like the idea Zero! I'm deff in to get a seaon started if we get the numbers. I was just talking to DES yesterday about how I miss the seasons we had in the old days. Not only that, but last year when I got the game for a short period I actually had a lot of fun. It took a bit to get the swing of things again.. But when we did that 4 way match online it was just a lot of fun. Would be cool to get a season going and being able to look forward to fun matches like that week in and week out. [/rant]
